Let's face it, tails are often the "butt" of jokes, but they perform critical functions for a wide variety of animals
- from balance and camouflage to navigation and warning others to "stay far away!"

s Book Academy, Marcie Colleen's Study Hall and Susanna Hill's Making Picture Book Magic. She frequently attends conferences, book festivals, webinars, etc. She has two picture books with Gnome Road Publishing: THE IMPOSTER and EMILY SNOOK THE WORLD'
S SMALLEST COOK. Laura is a preschool teacher, with a background in public relations/marketing, living in Westchester, NY (in a suburb a half an hour outside of NYC) with her husband, three children and dog Clover. When not writing or reading, she loves traveling, baking, crafting, and being in nature.
